Baby Laila is Finally Here!!!

On December 23, 2008 we headed for the Baptist Womens Hospital off of Walnut Grove road and went to expierence the most amazing thing ever. The birth of Laila Celine Mutart. We arrived at 7:30am and were checked in very rapidly, and thus began that amazing process. Kendrie was given meds to begin the induction process and since npthing had happened for around 3 hours, at 11:00am they broke Kendrie's water and she began having real contractions and she got the epidural at about an hour later and we both took a nap since Kendrie was feeling pretty good. HEHE. Then I woke up when the Doctors came in and Dave Gould called to ask how things were going. Surprised to find out that Kendrie was already 10 centimeters dialated. So she began pushing at 3:50pm. Laila was born at 4:17pm on December 23, 2008. At 6 lbs 13 oz, 19 and a half inches tall. She was very beautiful. She has Kendrie's nose and hair, and we are pretty sure the rest is Josh. Stayed tuned for more about Laila as she grows bigger and beautiful and continues the process of her life.
